Kitty Fisher

Kitty FisherThe new enlarged Kitty Fisher buying experience offers an extended selection of our authentic Nottingham lace incorporated into both traditional designs, unique designer limited editions and exclusive one off items.

We have been working with Nottingham lace since 1983 and have been collecting individual and quality items over the years. We are not only able to offer an extensive selection of traditional and contemporary lace designs but also, for the first time, we are able to show the more exclusive side of our collections.

Our unique tableware, inspirational gifts and period evening and day-wear are augmented by vintage ceramics and collectables.

You may have met us when we exhibited at Earls Court, Olympia, or at the Design Centre in Islington at the Country Living Show. Many of the unusual and eclectic antiques and collectables as well as our unique Nottingham lace products are now available on our website. From time to time we still exhibit at shows local to Nottingham and we will advertise them beforehand.

Except for handkerchiefs which are available on a Kitty Fisher gift card each individual item is packaged separately using gold tissue paper where appropriate and accompanied by a Kitty Fisher and Nottingham lace information card and sealed with a Nottingham lace, Made in England lozenge. As many of our products are for overseas customers this is extremely useful to show the authenticity of the item.

Look at our vintage clothing and gifts as when we say vintage we mean it – clothing  and collectables from the appropriate decades, NOT ‘vintage inspired’ new items.

Much of the Guipure and Needlerun laces we use are a diminishing stock from our own archives. Many of the machines on which these types of lace were made have sadly been broken up with the demise of much of the Nottingham lace industry. This means that as we use the lace many of our designs will become very much a collectors item- an antique of the future.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our eclectic website. Good luck with your browsing. If you have any questions or comments, we’d love to hear from you.
